SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Won high volume on-going contract with Pfaltzgraff for Mason Color. Approached head engineer for Pfaltzgraff with offer to create color samples for pottery line. Pitched the less expensive product as a second source for production. Sent samples to Pfaltzgraff for review. Two weeks later engineer called to say current supplier could not meet JIT deadline. Shipped order overnight. Established Mason Color as primary supplier.

Grew revenue $2M+ for Mason Color by developing pigments for ceramic logs for fireplaces. Manufacturer retained company to create pigments for gas logs. I collaborated on application and production for the log producers. Supported new product development for owners and plant personnel. Mason Color became leading supplier of pigment for this product to leading industry manufacturers.

Turned around Kicks-N-Giggles by moving it from a storefront toy store to e-commerce. Our bricks and mortar shop was located in a dying downtown district. Developed plan to close the storefront and create an internet business. Established a general web site, added niche products and incorporated a fund-raising capability for schools. 2006 holiday sales created viable sales pattern.

Built Heritage Market/WorldOne USA as distributor for top English pottery lines. Identified Coopercraft Pottery as competitive and marketable product for US distribution. Became wholesaler and then direct marketer for the English pottery. Designed and placed advertisements in US trade publications, worked trade shows and handled orders, processing and distribution.
