Provided overall operational evaluation prior to opening of plant, being cognizant of the newly merged company goals and values, business requirements/plan, that would incorporate cultural kill as a priority.

Advised in the design of a slaughter plant, including purchasing of necessary equipment, layout and repair of building prior to operations commencing.

Educated new owners of Government USDA regulations and HACCP plan requirements. Provided expertise in developing Government humane handling compliances for the slaughter of sheep, goats and veal for Muslim and Jewish faith.

Responsible for overall assessment, including restructuring/development of staff and premises following installation of European equipment, in order to increase yield and recoup investment.

Responsible for contingency planning, development of actual procedures and standards of slaughter in order to reduce contamination of workers and other livestock from infected animals.

This included disposal of carcasses, assuming responsibility to work with designated slaughter plants operational only for this disposal, all within total confidence prior to the public being informed, in order that slaughter could commence immediately.
