STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

My life-long experience and association with athletics and coaching at the highest levels have prepared me for positions in which I apply the discipline and methods of achieving maximum results under maximum stress to help others achieve personal and professional goals under demanding conditions.

EXPERIENCE

AMMAN BACCALAUREATE SCHOOL

Physical Education Teacher; Amman, Jordan; 2005-2008. Taught physical education classes to students in grades 1 through 12 for a 1,250- student school. In 2008, took on the added responsibility of Discipline Improvement Assistant, a position designed to allow me to implement a similar accountability system at ABS as the one that had proved successful at the Montessori School.

MODERN MONTESSORI SCHOOL

Physical Education Teacher; Amman, Jordan; 1998-2005. Taught physical education classes to students in Kindergarten through 10th grades. In 2004-2005 also served as Assistant Head for Pastoral Affairs as an assistant to the dean of students with responsibility for student discipline. Implemented an accountability system to improve student discipline which proved highly successful.

UNIVERSITY OF BAGHDAD

Lecturer; Baghdad, Iraq; 1996-1997. As a member of the Faculty of Physical Education, lectured on basketball strategies and coaching philosophies.

AL-MUSTANSARIYAH UNIVERSITY

Physical Education Teacher; Baghdad, Iraq; 1989-1990. Taught physical education at the Faculty of Business and Economics as part of a newly-implemented physical education program for first year college students.
