TITLE: Design and analysis of “Effective Brake Cooling”

DESCRIPTION: Increase the heat dissipation while applying brakes and reduce Brake Fade.

A vehicle running at downward slope or at a higher speed especially in LCV segment and high speed vehicles. During the apply of brakes load is being at the front section of the vehicles. This may lead excessive wear of brake pad by moving the vehicle forward than required which leads to generation of heat in the disc and pad. This may lead to reduced brake efficiency and life of the brake pad. This may even lead to burning of brake pad. The project deals with reduction of brake fade by increasing the heat dissipated from brake pad.

OTHER PROJECTS:

1. Analyzing the vibration induced in CHASIS under unladen condition.

2. HAMMER TEST at the side face of the radiator to check the ranges of fluctuation induced during the travel.

3. Tensile test on DRAG LINK.
