Thoroughly familiar with the process of manufacturing and producing industrial products

for a wide range of customer and or company applications. Work with client or company

specifications, ideas, or blueprints to produce parts on a special or stock basis. Call on

accounts to assist with product development, to provide service in the event of discrepancies or quality questions. Duties require the ability to communicate effectively on technical problems with various departments throughout the company, and to establish rapport.

Operated and troubleshot sophisticated machine shop equipment including both CNC mills and lathes, grinders, drill presses, and injection molding machines. Planned methods and sequence of machining. Selected and secured dies, blades, cutters and fixtures onto machines. Programmed federate, depth of cut, and cutting speed applying knowledge of metal properties. Performed quality control on manufactured pieces using measuring devices such as calipers, gauges, and templates. Able to program CNC equipment both manually and with Mastercam. Conversant with the full range of machine shop practices, as well as quality and production control procedures.

Acted as buyer of industrial products needed within the department, such as: drills, reamers, slotting saws, collects, high-speed carbide steels, ceramics, lubricants, and graphite materials among others.
