Plant Manager 2009 - 2011

As the Plant Manager of this unionized facility my responsibilities were, but not limited to, overseeing the daily production operations and meeting or exceeding daily production goals. As well as leading and directing a team of about 25 -30 employees, which included scheduling, Planning, improving efficiencies, minimizing downtime and waste, ensuring quality, cost control, performance reviews, hiring and dismissal of staff, enforcing company policies (as well as GMP'S and HACCAP) and ensuring plant safety, I was also the chairman of our monthly safety meetings as a member of the health and safety committee.
