Counseled adolescents ages 13-17 by providing support in their recovery efforts with substance abuse and underling issues that may have led to their substance use. Provided group therapy to teens to help develop coping skills when faced with their desire to use. Provided family therapy to teenagers and their families to help guide them towards better communication within their family system and ways in which the families can support their teenagers in their efforts to remain sober. Maintained progress notes for each session and received weekly supervision from LMFT supervisor.
