• Completed the GMT900 Tillsonburg/Venezuela container implementation and launch requirement for 17 projects in 22 weeks. $1.7M was projected to support production. Overall actual cost was $1.1M resulting in cost savings of $600,000 to be remitted back to the program.

• Seamlessly took over responsibility for the GMX627, launching flawlessly without issue, within program timing. Finalized all funding issues, and came in at $2.1M under budget. Job responsibilities included coordinate and implement resolutions for container launch issues.

• Complied with GM procedure/protocol on packaging development through concept, prototype and production for GMT900 MCE and additional support for the existing GMT900 Pick Up truck program.

Packaging Project Manager: Feb ’05 – Jan ‘07

• Performed long lead investigation for the Daimler Chrysler 2009 Dodge Ram program by completing container cost studies and part evaluation.

• Spent 8 months on site at CAMI Automotive in Ingersoll, Ontario

o Performed as a Specialized Packaging Engineer on the GMT193-2007 Suzuki Program Launch.

o Implemented new packaging designs for 65 commodities, that best-fit CAMI lean automotive processes and procedures. Introduced newly designed sequencing packaging while supporting part integrity and line layouts/processes.

o Interfaced with robotics, automation and lift assists in manufacturing sites, conduct container tests, emphasizing in build tolerances, and completing the line-side for vehicle launch efficiently. Experience with design development of materials such as HDPE, Urethane, plastic corrugated, Injection Molded/Blow Molded designs and Steel assembly.

o Experience with AGV and indexing equipment and how it interacts with packaging and with the assembly line presentation in CAMI’s manufacturing plant.

• Consulted for Keystone Automotive to assist with the packaging development.

o Coordinated design and implementation of prototype shuttle containers to comply with the customer’s processes and testing standards.
