Distributor and manufacturer of high-impact merchandising systems and accessories to retailers, brand marketers, agencies, display companies and printers.

Managed facility operations, maintained quality and accuracy for incoming and outgoing products, maintained detailed records for in/outbound goods, maintained and tracked inventory levels, conducted monthly and fiscal inventory counts. Maintained highest levels of customer satisfaction in shipping to retail vendors throughout the US.

• Core member in selecting and implementing Manhattan Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), trained users, and developed procedures to integrate the computerized system.

Warehouse Manager: The Tranzonic Company – Highland Hts, Oh (7/2000 – 7/2006)

Divisions: CCP Industries, Hospital Specialty Company, Tranzonic Retail

Distributor and manufacturer of consumable branded and private label products marketed to end user, distribution and retail customers.

Managed the day-to-day operations, including hiring, training, supervising and motivating a 40 member union/non-union environment. Maintained highest levels of customer satisfaction in shipping to both retail and non-retail vendors throughout the US and into Canada. Redesigned picking operations to incorporate a new MRP system, trained users, and developed procedures to integrate the computerized system.

• Played a key role in implementing the Varsity Logistics Manifest System resulting in reduced freight costs and significant productivity improvements.

• Improved quality to less than .01% customer returns on $220 million in sales.

• Managed the CCP plant which shipped an average of 1700 packages per day (1200 parcel and 500 LTL), with over 99% of all orders being shipped within a one day/same day shipping standard.

• Increased the percentage of samples shipped within one-day standard from 85% to over 98% while also improving quality and appearance.

Its menu includes bagels; cream cheese; coffee; sandwiches; softwiches, breads, and wraps; meals; salads; smoked salmon; soups; beverages; and desserts and snacks.

Supervised a 20-25 member non-union shop in production operations, quality control, maintenance, customer service, and plant safety. Oversaw distribution of customer orders throughout the Northeast Region of Ohio servicing 21 company owned restaurants. Established plant goals and priorities. Organized warehousing functions to provide a smooth and orderly workflow. Redesigned product flow systems throughout the plant for better efficiency. Trained employees in plant and distribution procedures. Other responsibilities included inventory control, scheduling, purchasing, and data entry.
