Manufacturing Manager-Manufacturing Engineer

To Whom It May Concern,

Throughout my career I have utilized my leadership, planning, and managerial skills to consistently increase revenues, reduce costs, and drive customer satisfaction. As my résumé demonstrates, I have:

● Turned around an Aerospace & Defense Contractor from a disorganized severely backlogged Aerospace company to a market leader with recurring profits.

● Launched a Robotic Automation company and generated sales to exceed $500,000 the first year and grew to over $1,000,000 per year for the next 3 years.

● Revitalized deficient corporate safety program by creating and implementing the newest safety slogan and safety awareness program for a major airplane manufacturer. (2000) Received the highest award from Executive Management.

● Lead initiative for Underground Boring Company to focus on customer needs and service, which drove sales of high margin from 25% to 85%. I moved and expanded the Manufacturing Facility to cover entire U.S. and implemented a Lean Manufacturing (Just in Time) system that would add 10% to revenues and 25% to profits in 1991 and 35% profits in 1992.

My success is due, in part, to my ability to communicate with others. It has enabled me to harness the potential of all levels of employees and motivate them to achieve superior results. Additionally, it has aided me in the recruitment, mentoring, and retention of exceptional personnel dedicated to excellence.

Since I am currently seeking new challenges as a Manufacturing Manager/Engineer I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your needs and my potential contributions.

Sincerely,

Kevin K. Fahring

IN SUMMARY

First of all, I would like to thank you for your time and consideration and say that I am willing to re-locate. I started my career in manufacturing fresh out of the Military in 1976. I was an Apprentice Machinist and received my Journeyman’s Certification 2 years later. I was a Machine Shop Lead for the next 2 years and was then promoted to Industrial Lab Technician. Shortly after that I started setting up and running CNC Mills & Lathes. In 1983 I received my certification as a CNC Programmer. I continued to Program and manage Machine Shops for the next 6 years until I became a Plant Manager. I am currently a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. I am constantly looking for current cutting-edge, cost-effective technologies to achieve Maximum Profitability Improvement. I have managed hundreds of Employees and can deal with any situation that might arise. I am a self-starter and innovator. I am loyal to a fault and always have the company’s best interest at hand. I have built start up companies that are still thriving today. I have a product in the Patent Office as we speak that could literally revolutionize that industry.

Thank you again for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Kevin K. Fahring 619-***-****
