JOB HISTORY:

-May 2009 to Present: Information Systems Operator (MOS 25B), U.S. Army Reserve, Adelphi, MD.

Information Systems Operator Mos 25B, U.S. Army at Ft. Gordon, GA. Completed the five-month IT training program in April 2010. Prior to that I was assigned to the Army Reserve Unit in Adelphi, MD doing on-the-job hands-on and computer-based training prior to attendance at the Mos 25B producing course. I Graduated with a 90+ GPA for the 25B Mos course. Install, configure and monitor local and wide-area networks, hardware and software, Provide customer and network administration services such as passwords, electronic mail accounts, and security and troubleshooting, assist in the design, preparation, editing and testing of computer programs. Also conducted Vista Migration with Reserve Unit.

-September 2004 - April. 2008. Pechanga Resort and Casino, Temecula, CA.

Engineer/Plumber. Duties included inspecting for damage to all Casino/Resort hotel rooms, furniture, plumbing fixtures, walls, carpets, doors, restrooms, and all areas of casino floor, including offices, and various casino departments and repaired same. I also installed and repaired water, sewer, and gas lines, worked with PVC, ABS, Copper, Galvanize and Black Pipe. While at Pechanga I used arithmetical calculations daily when determining sizes of pipes needed for jobs and how many feet and size of pipe I may need for the job. While working as a plumber my duties required me to read and interpret various technical manuals. I also looked at building plans and blueprints to identify various types and sizes of water lines, sanitary lines, grease lines, fire safety lines (sprinkler locations) which are all necessary to do my job at Pechanga. -October 1996 - Sepember 2004 - Truck Driver/Roofer, Gardner Roofing Co, San Jacinto, CA.

During the eight years here my responsibilities included roof leak repairs, installing composition roofs, loading and unloading roofing materials at job sites, inventory control and ensuring proper stock for jobs, and picking up roofing supplies at various supply yards. I also drove a truck with over 10,000 Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) rating and had a current license to drive this truck. During my time in this position, I repaired all sorts of roof leaks on composition, tile and hot-tar roofs (flat roofs) throughout Southern California on hundreds of homes. I also installed composition roofs throughout the region. Prior to a work project, I factored the amount of material that would be needed for any given project, ordered same and picked the material up and delivered it to the job sites for installation.

-September 1989 – October 1996. Aviation Boatswain Mate Third Class, USN.

- Served 30 months aboard USS Independence CV62. Duties included maintenance of hanger deck, inspecting areas for rust, damage from salt water while out to sea, paint as needed, maintenance of equipment used to tie down aircraft while on ship. Prior to docking and during port operations, I was responsible for ensuring the hanger deck was clean and in good repair, removing all potential Hazmat items (oil, grease etc), painting as required after inspection which included tie downs, borders, bulkheads, brass, etc. During sea operations, duties included safe movement of aircraft from one area of hanger deck to other areas, monitoring the safety of personnel working on aircraft in the hanger deck, participating as a member of the fire emergency team and maintenance of assigned areas of the ship.

- Served 12 months in Diego Garcia. Duties included maintenance of aircraft runways, inspecting runway lights and replacing as needed, and inspecting the runway to ensure it was clear of foreign objects that could damage aircraft and in good repair for flight operations. I also conducted maintenance of offices and other military buildings on the Naval Base.

-Served 36 months at Naval Hospital Oakland, Ca. primary duty as Military Police to maintain base security, patrol, guard duties to include proper ID and search of vehicles as directed, perimeter checks, respond to all police emergency calls when needed. File reports, dispatcher duties, traffic and safety of base personnel. I was qualified to carry a 45 cal. Pistol and Shotgun. Self defense training and police training as directed.
