• Collaborated with R&D to produce and gain approval of the first USDA bivalent swine influenza vaccine (SIV) licensed (EndFluence II) and the subsequent production of many batches of high quality autogenous SIV vaccines.

• Initiated many closed system methods to reduce product contamination.

• Completed Six Sigma Yellow Belt including Root Cause Analysis using Merck Production System Tools such as “Fishbone” and “5 Whys”.

• Pinpointed the identity of capacity limitations through Bottleneck Studies.

• Incorporated Safety programs into production to help prevent injuries and reduce lost time incidents.

• Initiated a project to extend a product expiration date which resulted in $94,230 of cost savings.

• Started up a new lab and building for the production of Chicken Anemia Virus (CAV).
