Responsible for estimating all aspects of preconstruction, from Cold Formed Metal Framing, Light gauge metal Load Bearing and Non-Load Bearing framing, roof truss framing, UL assemblies, STC assemblies, FRP, GFRG, Stucco, and EIFS for large commercial construction projects. Projects ranging from industrial, educational, healthcare, religious, commercial, multifamily, tenant fit out, design vuild, small office build-outs to large multi-story commercial and residential. Once awarded the project, it is my responsibility for contract review, creating budgets & production rates, assisting project managers with labor & material buyout, tracking labor budgets & production rates, creating subcontracts, ordering materials and making sure the job is completed on time and within budget. Responsible for managing the day to day operations of the estimating department and making sure all projects are bid on time. Conducted follow up on potential projects by collecting information including; but not limited to, spreads and names of awarded competitors so that future ITB’s can be evaluated and prioritized by past history of success and competitiveness by similarity in project conditions, project types, clients and competing subcontractors.

Started estimating small to medium residential/multi-family projects. Quickly, taking on larger and larger projects, taking-off what started as gypsum and insulation and becoming a wide range of trades from light gauge metal framing to multiple exterior finishes. After a few years I was tasked with starting a wood framing company from the ground up. setup accounts, bonding, and insurance. Hired general superintendant, foremen, and laborers. Contacted general contractors to get setup on bid list and get bid invites coming in and estimates going out. After the awarded the first few projects, I was then promoted to a Project manager. After one year we had over six million in contracts.
