Project Name: “Design and Characterization of Quartered Circular Gap Coupled Dual Band

Patch Antenna for 4-G Mobile Applications”

Description : The objective of the project is to design and study the effect of various parameters

required, such as substrate height, gap between the quarter coupled disc circular

patches, radii of the quartered disc patches etc. on the bandwidth and gain of the

antenna. By parasitically coupling two shorted patches on dual substrate, with a

single shorting-post loading on each patch, dual bandwidth from 1.53 to 1.61GHz

and 2.3 to 3.4 GHz respectively is observed.

Simulation Tool Used: Ansoft HFSSTM

Project Work # 2(M.Tech)

Project Name : “Design and Parametric study of deformed bow-tie antenna”

Description : A Bowtie antenna is made from a bitriangular sheet of metal with the feed at its

vertex. It is used in Military communication and Mobile stations. A bowtie

antenna can be designed where each arm is located in free space. The feeding of

structure is done by designing appropriate lumped element network synthesis for

One-port passive microwave structures. An essential part of the antenna design

must be to ensure robust communication even when the antenna is partially

damaged. What performance can be expected from an antenna when part of its

structure has been removed? In this project this issue is examined for a bow-tie

antenna when part of its structure has been removed. The structural deformation

has been inflicted by removing stripes of the outer part of one of the antenna arms.

Project Work # 3(B.E)

Project Name : “Security provisioning for link state routing in MANET”

Description : In this project we are presenting a Secure link state routing protocol (SLSP) for

MANET which makes use of advantages of existing link state update (LSU)

protocol and Neighbor lookup (NLP) protocol and some extra added features.

In this project, we proposed secured data transmission through the modifications

to SLSP. Data packet update policy in SLSP is proposed where routing table

entries are updated with link state parameters.

Project Name : “Automation of Tollgate”

Description : The main objective of this project was to automating vehicle tracking,

Time management and also for Automation of Tollgates. This system

basically consists of a set of ID chips, Decoder, Code analyzer, Interfacing

and a PC with the customized software module.
