Construction Manager
1 Served as Project Manager of various new construction jobs ranging from 25,000 Sq. Ft commercial office and retail products to up to 50 unit residential subdivision projects, foundation to finish. Houses ranged from 1,800 Sq. Ft – 7,000 Sq. Ft in size with sales prices ranging from $450,000 - $2,000,000.
2 As Project Manager was directly responsible for arranging the detailed cost to completion budgets, securing necessary financing with local lenders and/or investors.
3 Worked with the architects and engineers in the planning stages of the project, meeting with and awarding contracts to subcontractors, ordering construction materials, keeping projects on schedule and budget throughout construction, conducting weekly meetings with contractors to assess progress and any potential/necessary change orders, meeting with the various inspectors on site, and meeting with customers and brokering sales and/or leases for the projects.
4 Hands on/trade experience as Project manager primarily included finish carpentry, painting, flooring, site work, framing, land development and site work (leveling/roadwork), siding and window installation.
