Sept. 30, 2010 to current - Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET), Link Facility Services

On site repair, preventive maintenance, & electrical safety inspections of medical equipment at Kindred Hospital of Dallas. Some of the equipment consists of, infusion pumps, defibrillators, EKG machines, intensive care monitors, telemetry transmitters, sterilizers, centrifuges, and various other hospital equipment.

Served as Systems Administrator responsible for the hardware and software support required for the operation of the HP-UX/ORACLE based Telecommunications Ordering and Pricing System (TOPS). Responsibilities included installing, testing, and problem solving for the Telecommunications data communications in the Division Office and associated field offices. Responsible for evaluation, diagnosis, and identification of equipment manufacturing defects. Repaired (to component level), and made modifications to bio-medical equipment, such as: Dialysis Machines, Blood Gas Machines, Spacelabs & HP Heart Monitors, EKG Machines, Holter Monitoring Equipment, and other hospital equipment.
