Utilizing technical, business and human management skills, I drove revenue and enabled long-term growth in real estate development, construction and related industries. A goal-oriented executive, I offer consistent success managing all facets of multimillion dollar development projects for firms ranging from startups to industry leaders.
I am particularly experienced in building and growing strategic partnerships, as well as in complex negotiations. Dynamic leadership skills, combined with a strong consultative approach to problem solving, help me turn seemingly impossible challenges into viable business opportunities. Key strengths include:
• Forging lasting and mutually beneficial business relationships
• Utilizing solid management skills to assure on-time project completion
• Combining business acumen with vision and tenacity to grow revenue
• Astutely managing concurrent ongoing, multisite projects
A creative problem solver with demonstrated strengths in change management, I have cultivated the ability to drive strong business results year after year. Peers note my ability to analyze, assess and move forward with purpose, building and piloting efficient teams, streamlining procedures and assuring top performance.
SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Established new division, dramatically increasing revenue. To capture additional business from existing NAC clients, diversified into related services. Set up construction management division and co-marketed services to key lenders. Grew sales from startup of $5K/month to over $1.2M annually in under four years.
Ensured consistently strong/loyal teams. Compensation for top client managers lagged behind industry standards after acquisition by LandAmerica. To enhance team production/loyalty, initiated incentivized bonus structure and revised production levels. Maintained superior staff, enhancing production and growing revenue.
Completed critical assessment on time, providing groundwork for sale. State of California negotiated sale of 1.4M sq ft of office space, but needed due diligence reports. With limited resources and time, conducted assessment covering all critical components. Finished reports on time, allowing $2.3B sale to move forward.
Optimized property development procedures, reducing costs. Seligman paid high fees to private contractors to acquire/develop property, with poor results. Assumed general contracting and management responsibility, instituted controls and negotiated materials and services contracts. Saved nearly $1M annually through improved oversight.
