Projects:
Comparison of link-state and Distance-vector routing protocols.
A comparison of distance vector and link state protocols for communication between networks and to select the best path to reach the destination using RIP and OSPF.we made a comparison of both these protocols by using some parameters like network convergence activity, network convergence time, traffic sent, traffic received where network convergence time is the key parameter .we also made a comparison using the re convergence time when a link or node fails. We used OPNET simulation to simulate these protocols.
Routing protocol Development for an Distributed Peer-to-Peer Networks.
We proposed a new protocol in this routing mechanism we introduce the concept of dynamic multipath routing mechanism. we would use the basic AODV and AODV secure concepts as basic routing protocols and try to introduce the dynamic multiple route mechanism along with AODV protocol. In this mechanism similar to AODV and AODV secure protocols we would first determine all the possible multipath routes then split data in to packets but the major advantage of this mechanism is the multiple paths selected for a set of source and destination keep changing over a period of time so even if the attacker selectively attacked multiple routes. Since the computation of routes keeps changing it is difficult to retrieve the data or the computation mechanism.
