Overview
I am a highly motivated and intelligent team player. I have solid experience in leading multiple departments and teams as well as working individually with exceptional results. Solid communication skills and the ability to adapt to ever-changing environments have allowed me to advance rapidly at several organizations. My experience in the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) field is also coupled with 10 years of production supervision/management experience. I have been attending Columbia Southern University for an accredited online bachelor's degree in EHS/OSHA Safety. I presently hold a 4.0 GPA.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Since leaving AWP Industries, I have been working in construction, building designer homes.
Production Manager/Coordinator
10-23-07 – 4-26-10 AWP Industries
616 Industrial Rd. Frankfort, KY 40601 502-***-****)
Responsible for all activities in a metal fabrication facility. My previous experience in world-class facilities was the primary reason for my employment acquisition. EHS, on-time delivery, efficiency, plant layout and cleanliness were my prime objectives. Vast culture change and bringing the facility to present technological/operation status were very welcomed challenges in my daily functions. Monthly management review summaries for corporate goals presentation and Cost of Quality chairman responsibilities allow me to drive the team in the most effective direction. I was the 5Y problem solving and scrap reduction team champion. My leadership skills were equally matched with my ability to follow instructions from superiors. I enjoyed direct engagement with all operations and equipment. I was the 2009/2010 Safety Team chairman and responsible for all OSHA and regulatory compliance activities including creation/revamping of all programs at the facility. During this time, AWP was awarded its 1st perfect OSHA inspection. For the last 2 years of employment there, I ran the entire company on 3rd with no support personnel of any kind with only a small amount of resources at my disposal. I answered directly to the Operations Manager/Owner.
