Summary of Most Recent Position
For the last seven years I worked as a Production Data Coordinator for Hexion and used my extensive experience in computer data handling and inventory control in a production environment. I have strong communication skills in customer service and teach SAP methodology. Also, I have experience in others area such as purchasing, shipping, and receiving. My ability to think around corners and trouble-shoot has helped to resolve plant-wide problems. In addition, I’m adaptable, a fast learner, and self-motivated.
Accomplishments at Hexion
Newly hired, I initiated inventory resolution of raw materials in a batch managed system where no control existed before. This action initiated inventory management for Lawter.
I wrote extensive technical presentations and teaching procedures for SAP transition projects for Eastman, Lawter International, Resolution Specialty Materials, and Hexion. .
As a SAP power user, I was the plant-wide person of choice to help with various issues concerning inventory, production, shipping, receiving, and customer service.
I created methods of reporting month-end variance costs and using SAP Business Warehouse.
Taught various classes, including SAP, to production personal as well as management staff.
My being project lead on a Six Sigma project resulted in a projected annual Hexion inventory cost savings of $185,000.
As a participant in a company transition project in Houston, TX, I worked with an international team to adapt Eastman SAP to Resolution Specialty Materials SAP.
I streamlined purchasing, receiving, and batch ticket SAP procedures to decrease errors.
As a production data coordinator for Hexion, my duties included:
Resolution of raw material inventory issues for batch control tickets.
