SKILLS

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Since I mainly work independently as a journalist and author, I have had to communicate with different type of people in person as well as on the phone and on the internet (including Skype). I know how to keep a conversation going without pressure, easy and naturally. My job experience has proved that I am a good natural-born psychologist in communication with other people, I always tend to find the best way of approaching each individual (when arranging interviews, during the actual interview process, at meetings etc.). That I have excellent writing skills is already clearly shown by the fact that I work as an author/journalist.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

I work on my own most of the time, so I know well how to plan my own schedule and organize my time so I can manage to do all that is needed. I can keep within strict deadlines, in fact, I always tend to finish my work at least a few days before the set deadline. I plan my article schedule at least three months ahead so I can systematically work on several articles at once – gathering information, analyzing it etc.

• Ability to work with others as well as on own initiative

I have proven to be an excellent independent worker as well as part of a team. When I write articles or work on interviews, I mostly do it all by myself. However, when working for the internet news portal TVNet, I managed to fit in a group of creative people so well that we all became like a new family – doing things together felt as natural as can be among colleges. I get on well with my colleges at all times and it is a pleasure to be a part of team.

• Good computer skills

I have excellent computer skills (all MS Office programs, Adobe, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Macintosh, Photoshop etc.) which I have perfected whilst working as Administrative Assistant.
