Conducted habitat assessments and surveys of endangered bat species and potential roosts, managed teams in the field and trained new field technicians, wrote reports, performed data analysis and entry, traveled extensively in rough terrain in the Midwest and New England, and maintained and prepared field equipment. Researched the levels of bioaccumulants in marine mammals and assessed possible threats to California condors and presented findings to supervisors and scientists from other institutions. Volunteered with the Big Sur Ornithology Laboratory with bird banding.
