During my three years of work experience in Sampas, I worked as a business analyst in various

projects that were supported by institutions such as European Union and European

Commission. These projects involved Management Information Systems for municipalities such

as “Analytic Budget,” “Real Estate Tax,” “Payment Systems” and “Income Management.”

Furthermore, I found the opportunity to work as a project manager in two small-scale projects.

Having worked as a project manager in these projects, I gained experiential skills in leadership,

time estimation, risk management and configuration management.

Responsibilities

Elicit information and user requirements through a range of techniques including: interviews,

document analysis, requirements workshops and workflow analysis. Reach and understanding

of requirements with requirements providers. Use prototyping and/or other related techniques

(storyboarding, mockups, etc.) to communicate with the stakeholders and the end users.

Analyze the requirements by coordinating with the project manager and technical lead. Prepare

the necessary documentation in each successive level using MS Word, MS Visio, and Rational

Rose. Work closely with the Business Area Experts to make a recommendation for a solution

and work with the technical team to design it. Use Rational Rose and UML to produce models

like context, use case, sequence, activity etc. Manage the requirements and changes by using

JIRA and Subversion. Validate technical designs created by IT developers against functional

specifications. Design test plans, test scenarios and test cases for integration, regression and

user acceptance testing (UAT) to improve overall quality of the Application. Train end users and

client IT group.
