EXPERIENCE

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Positions:

Counseling, educating and caring for clients with reproductive healthcare needs, clients at risk for and/or currently affected by sexually transmitted diseases, prescribing and administering birth-control, as well as addressing other medical concerns as necessary. Insertion of Long-Term Reversible Contraceptives (Implanon, Nexplanon and Intrauterine devices). Basic CPR certified.

12/2007-4/12 Primary caregiver for Mother-in-Law with advanced Alzheimer’s.

10/2000-12/2007 Orangeburg Area Mental Health, Orangeburg ,S.C. Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, (Full-time). Assessment ,diagnosis, and management of medical and psychiatric illnesses of patients of all ages seeking assistance for mental health issues with primary target populations being child, adolescent and adult. Medication monitoring. Responsible for providing clients with education regarding their medications, diagnosis, and treatment plans thereby increasing their potential for compliance as well as improving their overall functional status. Developed and implemented forms to improve documentation of medical care provided. Provided First Aid and CPR training to employees.
