Served as a volunteer research student in the Biochemistry lab in the Biochemistry Department. Held responsibility for setting up equipment and experiments, including basic solution preparation, conducting pH measurements, isolating crude enzyme extracts, micropipetting, and performing standard activity assays. Experiments include Green Fluorescent Proteins, Ni^(2+)-NTA affinity chromatography, ion chromatography, SDS-PAGE, and western Blot analysis, testing of liquids.
