DMS 500 Switch Technician, (AT&T Local Service April 00 to Mar 2003:) Managed the daily activities within the Central Office to include OAM&P, translations, turn-up and maintenance within the DMS 500.
Turned up customer voice and data type services to include T1, PRI's DID, Trunks, and SS7 links services. Worked with Clec's while maintaining COLR and ASR records for test and maintenance of Type II & III Carrier Access services. Maintained the Titan 5500 DACS and all Sonet type services associated with the OCN rings.
Senior LNP/HFC Analyst, (AT&T Broadband Sept 98 to April 00:)
Worked as Senior Telephony Analyst responsible for training of Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC) Broadband Telephone operations and daily remote operational maintenance. Helped to create MediaOne’s first automated (DOCSIS) High Speed Data, Digital TV, and local Telephone repair centers. This concept was replicated nation wide from lessons learned from our launch. Trained Recent Change Activity for a Lucent 5ESS switch, which included Local Number Portability (LNP), ADC related products to included Element Manager and Craftworks (residential DS0 remote testing and analytical tool).
Private Line Technician, Network Operations, (AT&T Business Services Jan 98 to Sep 98:) Completed installs and testing of Transmission facilities DSO, DS1, DS3 circuits while performing routine maintenance. Troubleshot defects and outages of complex equipment such as circuit equipment network terminal equipment, Lucent OCN equipment, Lucent 5ESS Switch, Lucent DACS II, Titan 5500, and CSU/DSU. Operations Installations Supervisor (DSC Communications Oct 95 to Jan 97)
Managed two teams that installed the DSC STP type switches. Supported all functions testing and turning up the SS7 links to local carriers in the Southeast region. Supplied A-1 links from the SCP to Local carrier tandem switch that supported out of band SS7signaling. Terminated Battery Power –48V DC and obtained a Bell certification as an Installation Supervisor. Maintained all AutoCAD Engineering changes. Performed many site surveys to assist the Engineering groups in their efforts to properly facilitate the installation.
