Experience
1998– 2008 Department Of Corrections Jefferson City, MO Research Analyst II
Generate statistical reports and spreadsheets using Focus, Excel, Access and SQL Query Languages.
Complete surveys for organizations such as Criminal Justice Institute, Corrections Yearbook and Sam Houston State University Criminal Justice Center in Huntsville, Texas and Southern Legislative Adult Corrections Questionnaire.
Collect and send data to US Census Bureau for Bureau of Justice Statistics’ National Corrections Reporting Program (NCRP).
Compile a departmental Offender Profile Report for the Department of Corrections Director to use for legislative budget hearings and that will be available to the public on the internet.
Answer requests from other Department of Corrections staff and outside organizations for statistics and generate statistical reports when required.
Analyze Fiscal Notes to determine what the impact to the Department of Corrections will be.
Run routine reports when needed. Data entry as needed.

Research Analyst I
Assemble and analyze data entered into the facility network. Perform clinical statistical analyzes, frequency of occurrence rates, and overall trends in hospital movement and growth.
Provide support to the Quality assurance Officer by developing requested databases, designing Quality Assurance reporting mechanisms, and preparing specialized reports.
Trains HIMD staff in areas of Network software and AS400, inpatient admissions and provide technical assistance and support for other departments as needed. Verify all patient movements, in-house census activities, and service logs.
Responsible for maintaining all census and diagnosis systems such as; CTRAC, ICIS (in-house CTRAC), and CBIS systems. Responsible for system cleanup for CTRAC, ICIS, and CBIS systems on the AS400. Correct all erroneous ICD9 and DSM III diagnosis input into computer systems.
Supervisory experience includes making daily work assignments, delegating duties, and following through to assure completion of tasks. Cover for any absent data entry clerks as needed.
