Maintain design history file for device development. Ensure compliance to regulations and GMP Responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of Design History Files (DHF), and Engineering Change Management (ECM). Interface with design development technical group and molecule teams. Currently the system is manual. I am in the process of supporting the analysis of potential software systems that could be utilized to automate and streamline process. SR. DOCUMENT CONTROL ANALYST
Duties include organizing and maintaining of Document Control Department.
Created all web page published processes used by Mirapoint’s Change Control Board (CCB) members. These published processes include instructions about how to use the Agile Change Manager system as well as the processes for qualifying a change order prior to submission to CCB.
Work with Engineering and Marketing team members to create all new Bills of Materials (BOMs) for new products. As a member of the New Product Introduction (NPI) team, anticipating part number assignment requirements and their use in BOMs that relate to Mirapoint’s production process is key to timely implementation of both prototype and production development.
As the CCB administrator reviewing Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Manufacturing Change Orders (MCO) is required in order to make sure that all related data; document attachments, supplier part numbers, production implementation dates, and product lines affected is completed appropriately to make the CCB process work smoothly.
Maintained and augmented the part numbering class code system and the part naming conventions to accommodate new classes of materials for use by engineers and buyers. This system provides for easy database look-ups based on either part class or description.
As the Agile Administrator; Assigning users, user passwords, levels of database access, and CCB priority are important for maintaining the appropriate levels of security while maximizing the efficacy of the seat licenses available. Also installation of client seat software and upgrades is my responsibility.
Coordinate all change orders for timely release to either production or prototype levels so that there is a quick and accurate upload to the Oracle financial system. This transfer/ upload of part number(s) are only done through the ECO process. The ECO (Engineering Change Order) is created and routed via Agile database for signatures by CCB representatives from Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Purchasing, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, and Tech Publications. After CCB approval the final release and transfer process is done by Document Control Analyst.
Work closely with the Systems Administrator, Order Entry, Manufacturing Engineer, Material Planner, and Customer Service Logistics to make sure that all departments are aware of pending changes as well as creating process and tool changes to afford more efficient use of the product data.
