ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE

Biochemistry:

Gained experience in the chemistry of major cellular constituents and their metabolism using a spe ctrophotometer and colorimeter to obtain the spectrums of different solutions.

Clinical Biochemistry:

Performed testing on metabolic products concentrations levels in the body. And conducted blood enzyme assay through the SGOT, SGPT , ACID AND ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE KITS.

Enzymology:

Conducted test on the activity of α-amylase and β-amylase effect of substrate concentration, pH and temperature.

Biochemical preparations and Molecular-biology

Isolation of DNA from plant and animal, Isolation of RNA from yeast, Isolation of plasmid DNA from bacteria, Starch from potato, glycogen from liver, cholesterol from egg yolk ,Southern blot and Gel chromatography,Plasmid preparation and Transformation calculation

Cell Biology:

Performed experiments consisting of pH gradients, cell function depending on the pH of different fluids and the procedure of electrophoresis and chromatography.

Microbiology: I have done the Pour plate,Spread palte, Miles and Misra method to determine the no. of viable microorganism. Total cell count, Tutbidimetry(culterdensity).

Immunology:

Performed tests on immunoserums and antibodies produced from rabbits. The different tests used to observe antigens and antibodies; immunoassay, Western Blot, and Eliza.

Organic Chemistry:

Performed a study of nomenclature, preparations, reactions, and reaction mechanisms of functional groups of aliphatic and aromatic compounds.

Bio informatics: I have done the Blast,fasta,multiplesequence alignment etc. for identifying the gene function,promoters,openreading frames ,introns , Phylogenetic relations, conserve domain(protein function) by DNA data mining analysis. I have done the Artemis tool.
