Paint Tech/Lead Setup
Duties are;
• Set-up for each different part depending on color
• Mixing paint using catalyst, resin & reducers (IBA, MEK & MAK) to obtain desired viscosity & flow.
• Ensuring parts hung are of conforming quality.
• Setting up 1st & 2nd coat equipment for consistent coverage to exceed a FTQ% of 90% or better.
• Keeping actual inventory quantities & systems quantities equal.
• Scheduling parts to be painted per costumer orders.
• Reporting paint usage for EPA reports on a daily basis.
• Maintain chemicals for water curtains & Centrifuge system.
• Scheduling clean up & tube replacement.
• Ordering PM equipment & parts for DeVilbiss spray guns.
• Scheduling hazardous & non-hazardous waste pickup.
• Managing employees under my supervision, reporting FTQ & employee hours for the day’s production efficiency.
Plastech 2007-2008
Robotic Paint Tech
Duties are;
• Set-up for robot on all parts to be painted
• Quality on finished product
• Paint color change over
• Adjust points for full coverage on parts running

Quality Industries 2003-2007
Powder/wet Paint tech
Duties are;
• Powder painting all parts going through powder booth, maintaining booth operations.
• Wet painting door frames, sleeper doors & baggage doors. Maintaining spray guns.
Powder Paint lead 1999-2001
Duties included;
• Training new employees on line sets of hanging parts, training painters on operation, and preventive maintenance & gun configurations on the powder booth.
• Titration of 5 stage chemical washer/degreaser, preventive maintenance & chemical levels.
• Inventory of powder paint & chemicals for washer, parts for powder booth.
• Painting schedule of raw parts needed for six assembly lines for five days out.
• Labor reporting for all employees
• Scheduling for all assembly lines
Ensuring that inventory of all painted does not become depleted & part locations throughout the plant.
• Quality inspection on every part (1st ten last ten) painted each day
CNC lead 2001-2003
Duties included;
• Training of new employees on brake presses, ton presses & nc presses
• Programming nc presses via Jet Cam, creating programs for new parts & reprogramming updated parts.
• Preventive maintenance on brake, ton & nc presses
• Inventory of raw material & maintaining that inventory
• Labor reporting for all employees
• Scheduling for raw parts to be sent to assembly & paint department
