To whom it may concern:
Please consider this letter of recommendation for employment of Marc Wasserman. I
have known Marc since the fall of 2010 as a volunteer worker in my research laboratory
in the Department of Biological Sciences at Northern Arizona University.
While in my laboratory Marc learned a variety of skills related to performing bench
science in the field of molecular biology. Marc proved to be a very adept learner, and
excelled at performing complex techniques in a reliable and competent manner. Marc is a
very independent worker, carrying out his work in a timely fashion with minimal
oversight. Moreover, he was very self-sufficient at problem solving, often taking the time
to figure out solutions to impediments rather than relying on others in the lab to do this
work for him. For all of these reasons, I am happy to recommend Marc in virtually any
employment capacity.
Beyond being a strong worker, Marc also has strong interpersonal skills, and got along
well with other lab researchers. He is a pleasure to interact with, and an easy person for
members of my lab to work alongside.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Jason Wilder
Assistant Professor of Biology
