Since November 2007 working with M/s. ETA ASCON Group of Companies, Dubai UAE as a Site Engineer

Currently working as a Site Engineer to execute around 120 nos. of Project for carrying out Fiber Optic Cable laying, jointing and testing works for ETISALAT (Emirates Telecommunication) in Dubai and Sharjah, UAE.

As a Site Engineer

Responsibilities:

Preparation of Man power monitoring chart for the whole project.

Workforce control & allocation of works on daily basis.

Preparation of Diary work for submission of Invoices.

Preparation of Test reports after completion of the project.

Co-ordinate with ETISALAT engineer for material requirements based on site condition and requests them to issue MRN.

Execution of work as per ETISALAT standard and follow rules & regulations.

Close follow-ups with sub – contractors for project progress.

Handling / supervising cable and splicing teams for all FOC project work.

Attending the site meetings with planner and customers for project progress.

Update the waiters and other internal jobs.

Monitoring and control of manpower & getting output on daily progress as per plan.

Preparing indent & arrange the materials to site.

Physically checking and certification of sub contractor invoices based on site activities.

Preparation of Monthly/ Weekly/ Daily Progress Report and submit same to ETISALAT.

As a Site Supervisor

Responsibilities:

Vehicle arrangement as required by site (cable & splicing vehicle)

Installation of ODF, Mini ODF, Distribution of HUB & 10U ODF.

Preparation and installation of different type of splitter.

Installation of different types of outdoor cabinet.

Handling different types of machine ( Sumitomo:- 66,25,39 & Fujikura 50R)

Operation of optical time domain reflecto meter (O.T.D.R.)

Handling of LIVE joint without interruption the live fiber.

Preparation of different type of cables for jointing and termination.

Entry of the prepared cable in different type of joint closure

Splicing up to 1F, 2F, 8F, 16F, 24F, 48F, 72F, 100F, 200F, 300F, 400F, 600F & 800 fibers.

Link testing of optical power meter

Testing with (O.T.D.R ) all various cable (1F to 1000F)

Testing with (O.T.D.R ) different space ( Exchange & Outdoor Cabinet )

QUALIFICATION:

Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering [EEE] from “Seethai Ammal Polytechnic College, Keelakandani” Tamil Nadu – India

Completed Higher Secondary School from Murugappa higher secondary School, Kallal Tamil Nadu – India
