Public Relations Manager, National Urban League (05/06-03/08)
Responsible for helping mold marketing and communications strategy for one of the oldest civil rights and direct services organizations. Served as chief rhetoric crafter, editor and policy researcher for the league’s president and CEO. Generated editorial copy for a diverse range of vehicles – from press releases to weekly op-eds to talking points to speeches to policy documents to magazine articles to radio commentaries to broadcast PSAs, etc.
