OVERVIEW

Certified Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist with 10+ years experience in managing change for large projects including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations. -Manages staff of 5 OCM specialists who are involved in over fifty projects throughout the State.

-Manages the change efforts for major projects throughout the state including I.T. Consolidation, ERP (Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, and Financials), ICIS (Division of Corporations), Court Organized to Serve (COTS), etc.

-Developed an organization-wide RACI to capture the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) responsibilities of each team within the department, and created the requirements template in use by the PM and Apps Delivery teams.

-Performed OCM functions on multiple projects

-Developed web-based training using the Outstart and UPK tools

-Began the training division for Columbus Ohio consulting firm.

-Uses a modified Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodology which integrates with SDLC concepts to design, develop, and deliver a catalogue of courses that generated over $100K profit in the first year.

-Put in place the structure under which the new division would operate including establishing and documenting repeatable processes/procedures/policies, and templates.

-Developed the communication and education standards and managed all courses developed by Manifest EDU.

-Set curriculum and timeline for release of new classes and performed emergent technology analysis to determine new course creation.

The Ohio State University 06/1996 – 09/2000

User Experience and Training Manager

-Managed the process for creating a new user interface for the Brio Reporting Tool, used by OSU to augment its PeopleSoft system. Customized the interface to be more user-friendly/OSU-like and directed Brio subject matter experts in altering the user interface.

-Using PhotoShop developed the web front-end that was used for the PeopleSoft Procurement module and worked with a contractual design team to create a user-friendly/OSU like tool that staff could use to purchase supplies.

Instructional Designer and Technical Documentation Manager

-Managed a team of three at OSU to create the technical documentation for the OSU implementation of PeopleSoft. Their work products included diagrams, manuals, user-guides, and documentation for the system.

-Designed classes for the I.T. Support staff who would be responsible for maintaining and supporting end-user equipment. Asked to act as a trainer for the Human Resources, Financials, and Procurement teams based upon results on the I.T. team.

Web Master

-Maintained a site of over 800 pages for the project, developing content, user interface, and graphics. Fluent in HTML and JavaScript.
