I worked with AMDOCS since May, 2008 till April 2011 in the field of Analysis, Support and Maintenance of critical business applications using formal software engineering and project management methodologies in UNIX, SQL Server and PL/SQL.

Job Profile and Key responsibilities in AMDOCS:

Key Skils: UNIX, SQL, PL/SQL, C : Taking Proactive measures to automate process & performance improvement like automating Billing Rejects, created patches for APN recon to make the take error free using optimised SQL queries, RDBMS, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions etc (PL/SQL). Reduced the possibility of errors in various CSM tables. PL/SQL Programs are being created in UNIX. Worked on various AMDOCS applications like CSM, Call manager, MAF.

Key Responsibilities: To directly interact with international customer and create queries as per they’re requests using SQL, PL/SQL and UNIX.

TOAD: For Database access

Worked with international clients: Vodafone Nederland and Germany: I went to Germany for new CR and also went to Nederland for KT, to support one Production Application. In Germany and Nederland I had direct interaction with customer for more knowledge gathering about the system. I helped system via collecting a good knowledge from onsite people and have good professional relations with them.

Analyse: Analyse the data received from customer and document it in Excel and word, which will be understandable for team. In excel we used input data using various formulas, which help team to extract data easily.

Supported OGS applications: CSM, Mass Migration created patches using SQL to extract and update data for customer.

Communicate effectively: Using verbal and non-verbal communication skills directly interacting with international customer to support and co-ordinating with them in various activities.

New CR and Quality Centre: New CR was for MAF application, In which we need to create the source code for new formats receiving from network and also debug the code to find the errors. Created many test cases in Quality centre, which help team to check if the new CR is working correctly.

Mentoring: Mentoring employees in the production activities.

Timeline and Quality Work: As I was working on production activities, so we used to work under pressure and perform the task on time with good quality. I always analyse the task and automate it which helps me in future to complete the task in less time with good quality

Multitasking: Always meet all the timelines and work on multiple tasks to meet the deadline of various tasks. I also prioritise my task according to the criticality or urgency of task.

SLA: Analyse the defects in the Production and resolve the issue before SLA.

Good Customer Relations: Always maintain good relationship with customer and Team, which help in completing task with good energy. I used to receive mails from customer for my good work and effort.

Call Manager Application includes all the bill validations, once the billing is over all bills are validated through Call Manager, where we check if there is any invoice missing or if the bill is partial and many other validations

In files we collected information of calls and then send the information to customer or to the rater depending on the requirement of each format. Company send me to onsite to collect the information for new CR.
