School of Engineering, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma
Engineering course work included, not limited to: HVAC | Fluids | Thermodynamics 1 & 2 | Mechanical Design 1 & 2 | Metallurgy | Dynamics Systems | Manufacturing Processes | Engineering Analysis | Biomechanics | Heat Transfer | Engineering Economics | Circuits | Material Sciences | Engineering Computer Programming | Engineering CAD design for Mechanical Engineers | Strength of Materials
Projects & Educational Scope
• Drafted a theoretical Heat Ventilation and Air conditioning system for the Department of Human Service Capitol (DHS CAP) building of the State of Oklahoma. The HVAC engineers at the outsourcing firm rated the project the second best design for their needs.
• Created software in VBA to calculate heating and cooling loads. Duct sizing, diffuser selection, energy consumption and selecting systems were done using engineering skills and estimates.
• Designed and manufactured a working robot to better understand mechanical and electrical engineering capabilities as a part of a mechanical design project. Designing was done on ProEngineer and parts were designed with the help of CNC, Lathe machines and end mills.
• Formulated a solution for spool handling and manufacturing which included a design packet made in ProEngineer, including the bill of materials in the drawings, for Henniges automotive while displaying excellent team work and critical problem solving.
• Researched a new material and designed a heart valve in Pro-Engineer; with the help of scientific research articles for a project in Biomechanics.
• Performed 4-bar analysis by programming it on MathCad for various projects, this analysis was performed in the robot project as well as theoretical courses like Mechanical design 1&2.
