 Responsible for the overall Human Resources role, including but not limited to:

o Employee Relations

 Provide confidential counseling in employee relation’s matters

 Act to resolve personnel grievances in accordance with agency procedures

 Provide direction and support to supervisors in the areas of coaching and counseling, disciplinary actions, hiring, employee relations, personnel manual, etc.

 Recruit, screen, and interview qualified job candidates

 Evaluate staff benefits plan and salary structure and recommend appropriate changes to the President and CEO

 Update and administer benefit plan to eligible staff

o Compensation Administration

 Evaluate status of employees, volunteers, and independent contractors functions aligning with Agency needs in order to recommend staffing changes to President and CEO

 Assess compensation status of all agency positions in order to provide proper feedback on recommended salary bands

o Training and Development

 Provide training on sexual harassment and diversity awareness to League employees and participants in agency programs

 Deliver New Employee Orientation to new hires

 Provide as needed training and development to select staff

 Personnel Record Management

 Participate in agency management meetings as appropriate and contribute to development of League policies and problem solving

 Serve as staff liaison to the Board Personnel Committee and on other Board Committees as directed

 Process documentation on a timely basis related to new hires, employee benefits, job changes, salary increases, terminations and other documentation related to human resources functions

 Monitor the performance appraisal process, and recommend necessary changes
