• Production Scheduler - Started as material handler and moved rapidly to the shipping dept as a shipper and receiver, promoted to finishing supervisor (supervising 25-30 people) and then worked in the production office as a scheduler.
• Accounts Payable Analyst - Prepared weekly accounts payable reports for analysis to ensure timely payments prior to month end. Recorded appropriate payments within general ledger accounts. Ensured supplier invoices matched purchasing orders, minimized errors and increased efficiency. Resolving issues with regards to pricing and quantity discrepancies with suppliers.
• Purchasing Coordinator - Responsible for purchasing raw materials and supplies from vendors, and negotiating prices to ensure maximum quality while minimizing company overhead costs.
• Coordinating shipments with company shipping/receiving department, trucking companies, suppliers and couriers to ensure timely deliver of supplies and raw materials, which included international vendors and quality control initiatives
• Maintained close relationships with clients and increased efficiency by ordering multiple types of materials from fewer international vendors, which decrease ordering time and lowered costs.
• Multihead Department Supervisor - Coordinated daily tasks with the design department to the embroidery machine operators and material handlers to make certain all tasks were meeting required deadlines.
