Description: PEPSICO is a leading Beverage manufacturing company which has its landscape spread globally in countries like Europe, Latin America, Middle East, Russia etc. The project started with providing 24x7 monitoring support for PEPSICO for their global systems. The project was later enhanced introducing the new Business Objects BI 4.0 platform .The operating tools included Universe Design tool(UDT), Information Design Tool(IDT), Web Intelligence 4.0, Xcelsius 2008 Dashboards. The purpose is to use the already implemented landscape of PEPSICO in form of Bex queries to incorporate them in BO by building Dashboards, Webi reports on the Bex queries, Cubes, DSOs and multiproviders. The implementation is landscape wise i.e. separate implementation for the different regions.
Responsibilities:
• Interacted with business users and business owners for requirement gathering and understanding of the business.

Description: The project was to develop a BAS (Business Analytical Solution) in order to analyze 360deg performance of a store from 4 quadrants: Finance, Customers, People and Operations. The idea was to develop a dashboard for client SAP which would show the following 4 criteria’s and help the user analyze the data of these quadrants. The backend data was SQL server 2008.The schema was a 3.x extender star schema data federator universe. The data was brought to the Xcelsius Dashboard through Query as a web service. The dashboard also had linking to Webi reports. Thus the tools involved were SQL server 2008, Data Federator Designer 3.x, Universe Designer 3.x, Query as a Web service (QaaWs), Xcelsius 2008, Webi intelligence 3.x, BO Enterprise and Import Wizard.

This tool is being used by the customer to analyze the stock quantities for sales organizations like BOOTS. Currently the customer is accessing the system using the excel pivot table to analyze the data. So the enhancement is to implement the forecast analysis in the Xcelsius Dashboard using HANA database and BI 4.0 connectivity. The main aim is the Dashboard will display the master level data and by choosing the particular order or product Webi will show the detail level information.
