Personal Statement

Looking into becoming part of a solid team for a company not interested in downsizing or outsourcing to another country, which has happened to me in my last two positions, spanning 21 years of dedication and expertise to those two companies.

Solid team player in computer operations for 23 plus years, involving computer operator, senior operator, operations support analyst / applications support administrator, and my latest position as production control analyst II, until July 16th, 2010.

I just received a Microsoft voucher and signed up for a multiple section online course for SQL server 2008 Database administrator/Management, so I may further strengthen my resource knowledge base for the future.

Work Experience

Production Control Analyst II (April 2003 – July 16th 2010)

Moneygram International, Saint Louis Park, Minnesota

Monitor all computer systems within the production services department, including multiple IBM OS/390 MVS Mainframes, Unicenter, Tandem, NT and LINUX/UNIX servers in the data center. Have experience in all shifts, night and day,

in a 24 X 7 Production Services environment.

Manually download FX rates from Bloomberg on Sundays and holidays.

Backup Command Center monitoring when needed, such as Walmart transaction processing using RTS dashboard, Loadrunner graphs, restarting proactivenet agents, omegamon, etc..

When on night shift, monitored all nightly batch processing, Providing 1st/2nd level support to resolve production abends, scheduling discrepancies, and system issues in a timely manner, to meet all completion deadlines. Escalated production outages to 2nd/3rd support as needed, assisting in quick resolution, and participating on bridge calls when needed. Performed printing and tape processing duties.

Currently on day shift, assisting customers and users with production requests, such as running specific jobs, dealing with ftp transmission issues, file resends, updating knowledge base documentation, etc.

Have assisted in multiple process and system tests at Moneygram's backup and recovery site in Minnetonka.

Participated in the project to convert all CA-7 and Unicenter schedules to ESP/Cybermation multi-level scheduling application.
