After the smooth successful Knowledge Transition at onsite at London, Steady State support phase is ongoing from January 1, 2011 from Bangalore ODC as per strict SLA norms.

Project Brief: It is a global ESAP A2B (Average to Benchmark) Project for Xerox Europe based at London which is built on SAP CRM 5.0 and ECC 6.0 platform involving all 15 major European nations.

Roles/Responsibilities:

This is a recently Go- live project, yet to achieve steady state as further Build/Test phase work is undergoing. Therefore post implementation support is all the more challenging in terms of strict SLA compliance prior to steady state declaration.

CRM centric project wherein CRM billing Engine and Tax Transaction Engine (TTE) sends Billing data to FICO components in ECC through Business Documents (BDocs) and Business Add Ins (BAdis).

The Contracts are incepted in CRM and sends Accrual schedule to SAP Accrual Engine (AE).

All accruals are based on Contracts/price agreements in Sale, Service, Rental and Usage based (Usage Based billing-UBB)

Standard SAP deferrals are used with Lease Accounting Engine (LAE).

Project Brief: It is a fresh SAP Implementation project on SAP ECC 6.0 for Sony Corporation, Tokyo, Japan.

Sony Corporation HQ is essentially Group sales company which buys material from Sony Manufacturing Company(EMCS) and sells to Domestic Sales Company(SMOJ) as well as other Sony overseas Sales companies.

Roles/Responsibilities:

This is a fresh end to end SAP Implementation project on SAP ECC 6.0 platform replacing existing legacy ERP system with SAP Financial Accounting and Management Accounting modules to start with at the first phase with activation of new GL functionality. Business Blueprint (BBP) was finalized in SAP Solution Manager environment and Solution design document prepared for Realization to start.

RICEF list was being finalized and User Exits got identified and Customized Z Programs/Enhancements are to be developed based on Fit & Gap Analysis.

The project involves lot of customized developments dealing with numerous Interfaces across various legacy systems, which entails many Functional Specifications preparation followed ABAP development based on Technical specification, finally undergoing extensive unit testing, Integration testing, user acceptance testing.

Client: NGK Spark Plugs Inc, and NTK Technologies Inc., USA, the Japan-based multi-billion dollar automotive OEM manufacturing company.

Project Brief: It is essentially a SAP Implementation and Global Rollout project wherein existing non SAP ERP systems (mostly JD Edwards) are being replaced with SAP ECC 6.0.

The SAP Grand Design project was based out of Detroit, USA but the requirements for North America (US), Europe (Germany) and Brazil are all captured in AS IS workshop.

It entails development of Global Rollout Kit/Template for Volvo Construction Equipment (VCE) which will be handy for future SAP Rollouts of VCE across the globe.

Role/Responsibilities:

Project Brief:

The project was known as Coal Revenue Protection & Order Management project(major revenue used to come from Coal freight for QR) which include simultaneous implementation cum integration of CRM 5.0, SCM 5.0, SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP Net Weaver BI 7.0 based out of QR corporate office at Brisbane, Australia.

Role/Responsibilities:

The Project is being implemented using ASAP implementation methodology. Now Business Blueprint (BBP) is being prepared to be followed by Business System Design (BSD) document. The project was to go live on 31st March, 2008 with classical GL.

My role entails, inter alia, mostly looking after mainly Account Receivables area including Dunning & Interest calculation and working with Logistics and CRM team to finalize Pricing/Billing. Further helping with functional financial expertise to Business Intelligence team to generate FI Analytics reports pertaining to Budgeting & Forecasting as well as Earnings Reports.

This project involves lot of Interfaces and Middleware like Web Methods and XI. Therefore we need to meet requirements and do validation of Reports/Interfaces’ involved /Conversion/Enhancements (RICE).

Light House General Ledger (LHGL) is an Implementation Project into a single SAP R/3 4.7v Platform for new HP worldwide (after merger of Compaq). It envisages to implementation of FI,CO and BW Modules for more than 300 odd company codes across 150 countries.

Roles and Responsibilities:

For LHGL Project, Realization was over and Testing was in progress when I got involved in the project.

As a member of HPFO Finance Design Center (FDC, Bangalore) my role involved working in implementation team in General Ledger, Cost element and Cost center components.

I was predominantly doing Validation & checking of Master Data (GL Accounts, Cost Centers, Cost Elements) for Currencies, Account Groups, Field Status Groups, Cost Element categories etc for company codes predominantly in Asia Pacific region.
