$10 million USACE renovation of historic building, now US Army South (USARSO) Headquarters.

$15 million USACE complete gut & rebuild historic 4-story Building 1001 for 3 Battlion HQs.
Work with Architect, Civil, Mechanical & Electrical engineers to produce Design-Build plans.

Manage Korean portfolio of AFCEE jobs: 5-story new construction Kunsan AB Visitor’s Quarters, $25 million; Osan AB new Food Court, $3 million; Osan AB Aircraft Ramp, $1 million; Osan AB new sewer construction, $3 million.
Oversee projects by internal daily, weekly & monthly reporting and frequent travel to Korea.

2006 Parsons - Project Manager San Antonio, TX
Managed Firm Fixed Price AFCEE construction project at Hurlburt Field, FL., reparing hurricane damage to largest aircraft hangar, including new 65’doors and new interior offices. $15.3M.
Prepared budgets & schedules for government approval. Directed the work of general contractors and subcontractors.
Participated in preparation of competitive Proposals for new Government work.
2004 – 2005 Parsons - Construction Manager, Green Zone, Baghdad, Iraq
US Corps of Engineers $500 million project: Design-Build 150 Health Clinics & Renovate 20 Hospitals, headquartered in Baghdad, Iraq.
Executed large Program containing multiple design & construction projects.
Design-Build Scope development for new 20,000sf clinics; Design-Build Scope for Renovation of 20 Hospitals.
Created the organization for 16 ex-patriate Task Order Managers; opened new Regional offices in Basra, Southern Iraq, and Erbil, Northern Iraq.
Produced Implementation Work Plans, QA/QC Plans, Health & Safety Plans, etc.
Prepared schedules & budgets, reports & project documentation. Reported tracking data thru USACE QCS system.

Recruited to Parsons’ Military Privatization team.
Under Corps of Engineers program, surveyed properties at bases, prepared privatization Prepared development proposals for Design-Build housing construction. Presented Orals at Baltimore Corps HQ. in competition for privatization at Fort Shafter, Schofield Barracks, Fort Leonard Wood, Fort Drum, Fort Bliss, Fort Sam Houston.
2000-2003 Equity Residential Fort Lewis, WA
Development Manager, Pilot Project for Army Housing Privatization
Under US Corps of Engineers program, participated with other managers in the preparation for Congress of 50-year plan for construction, renovation and operation of 3800 units of family housing in 11 neighborhoods.
Working with USACE, the Privatization Authority, the Fort Command, Washington State Historic Officer, Pierce County and other stakeholders, directed civil engineers & architects in preparation of new development and construction plans.
Responsible for policy & reporting on utilities, utility metering, asbestos, lead based paint, underground storage tanks, mold, seismic, safety, historic buildings and ADA access issues.
Created “The Building Department”, an internal plan check & inspection department employing three certified Building Inspectors to assure Code compliance in new construction and remodels.
Constructed new neighborhood of 200 units, completed 700 remodels.
1996 - 2000 Steinvall Construction Co. Kirkland, WA.
Construction Manager
Construction Management. Development and concept-to-construction of downtown Seattle multi-million dollar mid-rise condominiums (Compass Pointe, Roosevelt Lofts & Lake Union Vista with street-level commercial spaces.
Multi-story post-tension concrete construction with elevators. Planned with City of Seattle, Fire Marshall, Communication and Utility providers for coordinated approach to life safety systems installation & connections.
For each building, directed civil engineer and architects, conducted negotiations with City of Seattle for Zoning, Use Permits, Building Permits and Utilities.
Approved change orders and monthly pay applications. Prepared monthly draws against construction loans.
