Current Assignment: Fort Stewart, GA. Military Police Officer, Staff

Sergeant

Awarded MP position, PFC (E 3), at the culmination of 8 weeks basic training

and an additional 8 weeks of intensive specialized MP training at Fort Leonard

Wood. Assigned to the 209th MP CO transferred to 258th MP CO in Fort Polk,

LA to deploy in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Guantanamo Bay,

Cuba. Where I served as a corrections officer. Upon Successful completion of

a 1 year tour, I was promoted to SPC (E 4) and was chosen above all peers as

a Command Driver at a Brigade level, responsible for managing the Command

Sergeant Major in Fort Polk, LA. Soon thereafter, I was selected by the United

States Army to go back to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as a corrections officer and

a subject matter expert serving with the 525th MP Battalion. I was awarded a

lateral move to Corporal (E 4) and was then assigned and served in the 59th

MP CO at Fort Carson, CO where I served as a first line supervisor in charge

of a team. I supported battlefield operations and provided area/convoy security

in highly hazardous conditions during overseas assignment in Iraq in support

of Operation Iraqi Freedom 07 09 for 15 months. I was promoted to Sergeant

(E 5) during that tour. I was selected by the operations manager and program

director to serve as a Non Commissioned Officer in charge of Military Police

Investigation 148th MP detachment gang task force unit for all of Fort Carson,

CO. I was promoted to SSG (E 6). I then was assigned as a Non

Commissioned Officer(Foreman) for 142nd MP CO in charge of all sections of

the Provost Marshals Office/Police Station and responsible for the health and

well being of all soldiers and residents in US Army Garrison Yongsan, Korea. I

was assigned and served as a Non Commissioned officer with the 293rd MP

CO in charge of 37 personnel, protecting lives and property, patrolling military

bases and preserving law and order at Hunter Army Airfield/Fort Stewart

Provost Marshal Office. Served as certified Evidence custodian as an

additional duty with Military Police Investigation.

Security Officer DOS 10/2000 to 10/2002 Memorial Hospital,

Colorado Springs, CO.

Provided top level security for a Level Trauma II, 583 bed hospital. Monitored

safety through security cameras and foot patrol of the premises. A licensed

safety officer who passed a criminal background check, completed classroom

training in property rights and the detention of criminals and emergency

procedures. Was trained in crisis intervention, violent situations, hostage

situations, assisting in searching for missing patients, fire alarms, hazardous

spills, bomb threats and more.

Results: Earned consistent commendations for devotion to duty with citations for

excellence in rapidly resolving crisis situations, upholding law and order,

relating effectively with culturally diverse populations and protecting

property and lives.

Fulfilled a range of MP duties for both combat and peacekeeping
