General Superintendent for large-scale commercial infrastructure utility projects, including the installation of sanitary sewer systems, water systems, storm sewer systems, and site grading.
Responsibilities include assisting with plan take-off and job-cost estimation; scheduling and implementing construction timelines for different contractors, while managing multiple jobs concurrently; providing continuous communication between project superintendents and project managers; attending weekly construction progress meetings; and, resolving all issues and addressing concerns of engineers and property owners.

• Management of projects during construction phases of site work on awarded projects
• Completion of Ridgeview Middle School site work in 45 day period, during summer break prior to school opening for 2008 - 2009 school year. Project included two underground water detention systems at depths of 24 feet, over 1000 LF of new san sewer, installation of new water / fire lines, excavation for numerous retaining walls and building footings.

A/C Land Development
Project Estimator and Site Manager for large-scale commercial infrastructure utility projects, including the installation of sanitary sewer systems, water systems, storm sewer systems, and site grading.
Responsibilities included site management, job-cost estimation for bidding, and management of construction schedules through to completion of project.

Served as Vice President and co-owner of a new, diversified underground utility construction company, specializing in the installation of communication duct banks, fiber optic conduit, natural gas pipeline, and water systems.

• Developed new company with a starting gross revenue of $230,000 in 2000 to more than $1,800,000.00 in 2004

• GDOT project consisting of the installation of both 16" & 8" DIP water mains which were attached under a new bridge with fabricated hanger assemblies.
• Installed natural gas pipelines in new sub divisions, multi residential housing communities and numerous commercial facilities.
• Installed 4’’ high pressure gas main on new bridge constructed across I-285 at Paces Ferry Road.
• 4’’ high pressure gas main relocation at intersection in Dacula, Ga. For the City of Buford Gas Dept.
• Installed 6000 LF of 6’’ High pressure gas main for pressure improvement for Atlanta gas Light Company

• 15,OOOLF of 12" high pressure steel for a GDOT relocation project, which included the construction of several regulator stations and installation of 600LF of steel under a newly
constructed bridge across the Yellow River
• Construction of 1 ", 2", 4" and 6" regulator stations, located at various intersections and housing communities, on one pressure improvement project where we assisted Atlanta Gas Light Company with monitoring the pressures in each station, as the system was brought from 60psi to150psi.
• Installation of water/ oil separators in numerous pipelines to prevent freezing of downstream regulators at customer locations
• Welding tasks involved installing stopper fittings from 1-%" thru 6", branch connections on 12" H.P. lines, service lines and tees
Construction Supervisor – GA January 1985-January 1996

Construction Supervisor for a natural gas distribution contractor for Atlanta Gas Light Company.
Responsibilities, as a Laborer, included learning all aspects of underground utility construction, and as a Construction Supervisor, included on-site project management and crew supervision.
Skills Acquired:
• Thorough background knowledge of the underground utility construction industry
• Locating underground utilities with electronic devices
• Heavy equipment operation and maintenance
• Plastic fusion with H.D.P.E. ranging in sizes from 1-%" thru 8"
• Acetylene and Arc welding passing the required yearly tests to weld on the Atlanta Gas Light pipeline system
• Performing hydrostatic tests using pressure clocks and charts along with introducing methanol into the line to dry up residual moisture
• Performing hot taps on lines ranging in sizes from 1-%" thru 12"
• Installation of anodes on new pipeline construction using cadwelds and brazing procedures

• "9000LF of 6" H.P. steel pipe installed paralleling a fiber optic cable that required crossing a stream that required extensive blasting and rock removal.
• Lowering 800LF of 6" H.P. steel pipe in place while the line was left in service.
