Quaker Valley Farms (5th generation family farmer, La Valle, Wisconsin)

• Implemented efficiency in feeding, sorting, handling; doctoring-shots, vaccinations, cutting

• Strong mechanical operator; cleaning barns and lots, manure hauling and other farm work

• Seasoned in being able to lift or move something whether bales or calves

• Enjoy managing books and accounts accurately with attention to detail

Joe Meyer Farms (250 cow dairy farm, Reedsburg, Wisconsin)

Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE) (2003-2004)

• Rented 25 acres from neighbor; planted 15 acres of corn and 10 acres into oats/alfalfa

• Kept/Bagged/Resold oats

• Bought and finished 8 feeder pigs for butcher; sold meat by private treaty

• Raised 4 Holstein steer calves; finished them on corn & hay ration; sold remaining grain

• Kept an accurate account of expenses and income, maintenance and repair on machinery

• Later purchased six Registered Polled Herefords with profits made from SAE project
