As an accomplished senior manager, I have extensive

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Created educational CD that reduced product
installation time. Clients’ perception was that the
RS/6000 workstation using CATIA software was a
slow installation. Created a thoroughly tested
installation CD and educational campaign. The
successful program reduced installation time 50%.
Developed tool for cost effective education spending.
Global management team had no report showing how
their education dollars were being spent. Gained buy-
in across geographies and developed an education
spending report for management. Enabled team to
closely manage course approval and redirect dollars to
critical education.
Increased sales with successful marketing campaign.
RS/6000 workstation sales were flat. Led marketing
campaign, working with channel partners and
providing them with compelling collateral materials.
Provided marketing data, proving in independent tests
that RS/6000 performance was equal to or better than
competition.
Dramatically improved customer requirements
process. Company wanted to revamp the customer
requirements process for the TIM organization. On a
scale of one to five, it had received the lowest rating, a
five. As project manager, developed and implemented
project plan. Within six months, reassessed receiving
a two rating.
CAREER HISTORY
Sr. Education Program Manager, IBM Integrated
Technology Delivery, 2006 to 2010. Led formation of a
global ITD education program in skills planning, gap
analysis and education enablement. Provided
consistency and standardization while delivering
critical learning to key personnel. Enabled deep
technical education of new IBM software products to
highly technical employees.
Sr. Education Manager, IBM Integrated Operations
(TIM - Technology Integration Mgmt), 2003 to 2006.
Established comprehensive training program for the
software development organization through an
effective collaboration with the Software Engineering
Institute (SEI).
Sr. Software Development Process Mgr, IBM Global
Services (TIM), 2002 to 2003. Managed matrixed team
of senior level employees and $1M budget. Led 1500-
person software development organization to
document requirements, development and test Key
Process Areas (KPAs).
Sr. Requirements Program Manager, IBM Global
Services (TIM), 2001 to 2002. Significantly improved
Requirements Management process in 1500 person
software development organization. Implemented
SEI’s Capability Maturity Model (CMM) with focus on
Key Process Area (KPA) requirements to
track/measure function.
Product Development Leader (PDT), IBM Global
Services (TIM), 1999 to 2001. Implemented Tivoli
Infrastructure Management Tools in largest client
account, IBM Global Account (IGA). Utilized PDT
process, resulting in significant logistical
improvements. Managed $2.5M budget while driving
project forward.
Sr. Marketing Manager, IBM Server Group, 1993 to
1999. Managed $1.5M budget and 10 staff. Developed
innovative RS/6000 workstation marketing materials.
Planned, designed, developed and implemented
Computer Aided Design (CAD) Operating Environment
CDs for multiple CAD Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).
