• Led teams to redesign and implement a global voice/data network. Project resulted in a more streamlined network and $4 million/year in savings.

• One of five people on the London based team to negotiate and put in place the details for an out sourcing agreement with IBM. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations responsible for all Information systems for this global manufacturer of OEM and CPG products. Current sales are $1.2 billion with manufacturing locations in the US, UK, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Japan and China. Responsible for Global IT strategic plan, linking three regions into one virtual organization.
• Responsible for a global staff of over 100 and an operating budget of $21 million. Main staff locations include Chicago, London, Tokyo and Shanghai.
• Responsible for setting up Asia Pacific IT organization to support global strategy. This includes supporting the start-up of manufacturing and distribution operations in China. Also, responsible for integrating Japan into overall IT infrastructure.
• Responsible for putting in place global DRP/ERP strategies to allow for global manufacturing, including ERP installs of SAP, BaaN, JDE and QAD and others.
• Developed global data warehouse to track key management and operational metrics.

• Participated on various user review committees to assist in the definition of cost-effective solutions to user requirements, in support of 132 sales & service locations throughout the Americas.
