Front Desk Representative -Managed multi-line phone system, made sure customers had their wake-up calls for the mornings, prepped food for the continental breakfast, assigned rooms to the customers, having to make sure they were assigned the proper room and not assigned a pre-assigned room, balance cash drawer at end of shift, clean the front area. Your basic customer service skills demonstrated on a regular basis, making sure that the customers were given a polite stay at the hotel with their every need met.
• January 2004 to April 2007 Jazzy Dezignz Coordinating/Owner-I handled all operations and decision making of the company, both financial and operational. I demonstrated all operations of professional office skills needed to run my office efficiently, and portray organizational skills too. My primary place of business for this company was a Bridal Consultant and Party Planner for all events, included the coordinating of the events from the beginning to the end of the event. It was also following the event through till its finishing touch to the end to the cleaning of the event too. Along with these services offered in this business I also offered much more to my customers, which gave them a full service atmosphere for any party or event they were planning to have. I designed silk floral arrangements from scratch according to the customers want and desire, designed written vows, invitations, table decorations, party set-up and take down according to venue contracts, and for other vendors needed I had all resource there at shop for the customers convenience. I run business with the utmost professionalism, integrity, and honesty.
• May 1999 to January 2003- Holland America Customer Relations Representative and Reservations Agent-Data entry, open sort and distribute mail, e-mail and phone calls in a timely manner, keep records of daily customer relations count for all representatives, service travel agents, and passenger’s via the telephone and email. While in the /Customer Relations department I did the full setup of the Ryndam for their auction which is a well known performance put on by Holland America Cruise Lines every year to raise monies for a charity. This was a full day event presented to the local businesses of Seattle by Holland America Cruise Lines. Another event as a customer relations individual worked the Sea Fair Parade, which is very well known in the Seattle area. This too is an event to raise monies for the Seattle area for multiple causes. As reservations agent I responded to all agent and passenger inquiries and concerns, provided accurate information on Holland America products, services, policies, and procedures. I utilized my strong skills of Tracs II and Holland America Line reference tools.
• 2007-Marketing, planning and full introduction of opening of the Chambers Bay Golf Course. This included but not limited to getting volunteers for working the stands, coordinating them, tracking their work to go smoothly, work out a work schedule for various positions of the entire marketing grounds of the golf course for all the vendors and making sure all our customers were happy and having fun!
• May 4, 2005- Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps, Certificate of Recognition of School/Community Volunteer
• 2001-Sea Fair Torchlight Parade consisted of a 4 1/2 mile walk with holding a balloon fish in route with everyone else working the fish down the passage.
• 2001- Port to Port Luxury Auction Travel and Wine Auction- consisted of full setting up the displays of the artwork and take down, making sure all the models were ready on time for the fashion show, make sure all prizes showed up on time and all vendors that gave to donate to the auction were attended to professionally, along with our profitable buyers. Finish off with a full cleaning of the ship and make sure the buyers got their items appropriately.
• 1998 - Raised monies for the Children’s Miracle Network while working for Sam’s club in the marketing department.
• 1986- Fashion Merchandising Course we turned our classroom into Santa’s workshop for the children of Bremerton WA. We also held a Fashion show as a assignment for the class.
