Packaging project team leader for Frozen Drug Delivery Program, Promoted 1983 from Package Engineer to Senior Package Engineer.
Received 1983 Corporate Technical Achievement Award. Responsible for the design and validation of a unique distribution/packaging system that allowed Travenol to effectively market premixed frozen drugs.
Applied and received corporate patents on two unique packaging systems.
Program management and supervisory responsibilities, coordination all packaging development activities for first priority projects, including supervisory responsibilities for lab personnel and production workers.
Major development activities were targeted towards the development and implementation of significant cost/value improvements to products. Completed design work, testing and prepared all documentation for submissions of protocols to the FDA for product approval.

Responsible for Package Development for Women’s and Children’s gift and decorative items destined for Avon’s International Market.
Coordination of projects involved working with New York marketing and design, issuing specifications, solving problems, approving vendor drawings and initiating required package testing with foreign subsidiaries.
Promoted in April of 1982 from Associate Engineer to Engineer, which resulted in additional responsibilities of training new engineers and the management of a secretary.
