Project Name: CES Lift and Shift

Role: Vice President/Application Dev Senior Manager

This project is to bring up the entire CES suite of applications in MSSB infrastructure from the Citi infrastructure. The Lift and Shift of these applications required us to socialize the CES application suite with many different teams.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in socialization of CES applications with many teams including the Security Architecture, Technical Design Review (TDR) Committee, Information Architecture team, Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) team, New Application Certification (NAC) team etc.

Project Name: Retail Syndicate Management System

Retail Syndicate Management System is a web application that enables various functions performed during IPO process including maintaining deals, capturing IOIs, approving allocations, ticketing and processing trades to back office. This system is used by more than thousand of Smith Barney retail branches through out the USA and internationally for syndicate participation on behalf of Smith Barney clients. This application is accessed by different sets of users including, ECM desk, Fixed Income desk, structured products desks that creates IPO and Secondary offerings, retail branches that participate in the syndicate deals, syndicate compliance, syndicate operations.

Responsibilities:

• Worked with business users from various groups in gathering business requirements.

• Worked on the design of the system

• Involved in development of key functionalities, task assignments to the development team members, monitoring the development progress, helping the team technically and taking decisions to help project manager reach the project deadlines

SUDS is an application accessed by the Syndicate Operations users to download brokers participating in the institutional deal from I-Deal and book broker to broker trades for issuing payments to the underwriters.

The technology behind both these applications include accessing webservices implemented by the vendor I-Deal for retrieving significant deal information.

Responsibilities:

• Designed and implemented the communication engine between Citi and I-Deal

• Worked with business users for various enhancements in gathering business requirements.

BASES and Biz@Once are Internet applications provided to the general business and large business customers of Bell Atlantic, for accessing the data present in the legacy systems. BASES and Biz@Once are single entry points to access the various Bell Atlantic applications like trouble administration, BAIMS, Performance Reports etc. over the internet. Both the applications use CGI Framework that parses the custom markup language to generate dynamic HTML. The CGI Framework and the custom markup language are developed within the project.

Responsibilities:

• providing internal access to BAIMS residing in the BA Internal Network, by reverse proxying BAIMS

• wrote a generic CGI application using CGI Framework for giving access to many external applications, monitoring the access to the various applications and logging the metrics data so that the same can be stored in database subsequently.

BellSouth Telecommunications, - 9/1998 to 4/1999

Project Name: Hands off Assignment Logic.

HAL is a mechanized system to handle error fallout from various Bell legacy systems such as FACS, COSMOS, SOCS, LMOS. HAL is implemented as error resolution logic that acquires data from legacy systems using specialized set of classes operating within the legacy system interface framework environment. Data transport between HAL legacy drivers and Legacy systems is achieved via Navigator (built over TCP/IP) – a BellSouth Product. The HAL legacy driver uses a Hllapi library (8.4.2 release EHLLAPI) to perform various tasks on the tn3270 screens of Legacy systems.

Responsibilities:

• analysis and development of Error Resolution Logic and legacy system transactions,

• providing system support, trouble shooting, work on enhancements, deploying the patches as per the need.

Hewlett Packard, Singapore - 6/1997 to 8/1998

Project Name: Hotel Wholesaler System

Role: Consultant

Technical Environment : HP Unix, Windows NT, JAVA, C/C++, NetDynamics, Visual Café, Java Script, Oracle.

HWS is a hotel reservation system developed for Abacus a famous travel agency in Singapore. This project was developed in two versions giving two interfaces for accessing the oracle database. The interfaces provided are web interface and terminal interface. The web interface was built using NetDynamics and the terminal interface was integrated with C++ APIs.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design and development of the TNR module and Voucher module, Authentication Server.

• Implemented Voucher printing using Java Applets.

Fujitsu ICIM India Ltd. – 1/1996 to 6/1997

Project Name: JPlanet

Role: Programmer Analyst

Jplanet is a project that involves placing Visual analyzer (a tool that analyses FORTRAN and C programs developed by Fujitsu ICIM) on internet and provide the JPlanet users with the access to Fujitsu C and Fortran compilers. The application users can upload their files to the Jplanet server and these files can be compiled, analyzed, and the results are provided in JAVA applets. The front end is provided in the form of JAVA Applets that communicate with 2 multi threaded application servers. The platform independent code was developed for Solaris and Window NT.

Responsibilities

• Design, development and testing of the user interface using applets on the client side

• calculating the performance calculations of the processor for each process in both UNIX and WindowsNT.

Project Name: Fujitsu ICIM Internet Website

Role: Programmer Analyst

Developed home pages for Fujitsu ICIM in World Wide Web. The home page contains text, tables, pictures and extensive graphics. HTML was used to develop the home page. Developed an internet application information server for ICIM.

Project Name: Contact Management System

This application developed for PC WORLD, DIXONS in UK. The system deals with customer contact management. It deals with customer calls and inquiries, in person as well as on telephone. It uses REPOS inventory system and further processes the call into invoices, quotations and sale orders, generates the same and maintains records. The documents either handed over to the customer or faxed. The system also deals with REPORT generation. The system is being developed fully in ESQL/C on DRS and will be ported to Ingress on SCO UNIX.
